Julia & Murray Hodgson attended St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Julia was employed by Queen's U before completed her 3-year program in Bus Admin. She is employed in the Research Accounting. Murray was immediately hired as a Wind Turbine technician on the Wolfe Island facility.”

“After graduating from Business Administration from St. Lawrence in 1978, I decided to attend Queen's University for Con.Ed. from 1978-1982. I completed a Master’s Degree in Administration from Ottawa University in 1988. In 1995 we celebrated the birth of my daughter Korrah, now at Queen's University in Engineering. I enjoyed teaching for 33 years and retired in 2015. I returned to SLC 2015-2016 full-time for the Carpentry Technology Program."

“I started my advertising design studio 2 years after graduation and it recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in business! Besides working, I love to travel with my husband and daughter, which gives me creative inspiration to bring back to the studio. We just recently returned from travelling throughout Italy. My experience at SLC gave me the foundation I required to start a successful advertising studio that is still going strong after 30 years. Recently I taught 2 of the Graphic Design courses. The curriculum is current, relevant & exactly what the students need to succeed in the industry today.”

However in 2009 I was diagnosed with Syringomyelia and my working career was stopped. Since then I have become the Canadian Rep for all of Canada with the Carion Fenn Foundation, as well as being one of her Administrators. My goal is to bring awareness of this rare condition to the medical community. I am expecting my first grandchild in April 2016.”
